TL;DR DV Radio, LLC only collects your data if you use our contact form or send audio messages via our live player's microphone feature (powered by RadioKing). Our DV Radio Store, chat room, live played, and the DV Radio mobile app use third-party services that may collect data—check their privacy policies for details. We do not collect any personal data directly through the DV Radio website or through the DV Radio app.

Disclaimer

DV Radio, LLC doesn't collect or sell your personal data except through our contact form, live player audio messages, or DV Radio Store (for more from StreaLabs, please visit here and here), which you use at your own discretion.

Contact Form: We collect basic info (e.g. name, email, message) when you submit/email here. This data is kept for up to 90 days or while we're in contact, then deleted.

Live Player & Audio Messages: Our live player, powered by RadioKing, lets you listen to our stream and send audio shout-outs (up to 30/thirty seconds) via your microphone. RadioKing may collect data like your IP address or browser details during live broadcasts or messaging. See RadioKing's privacy policy at https://www.radioking.com/protection-personal-data. Audio messages are stored for up to 90/ninety days and may be broadcast on our station with your consent by recording a voice message and sending it to DV Radio, LLC via the "LEAVE A MESSAGE" widget located on our website and our app.

DV Radio Store: Data collections happens via a third-party platform. Check their privacy policy by going to https://streamlabs.com/legal.

Analytics: We may use tools like google Analytics (we do not use this at the time of this privacy policy) to track site and player usage, collecting anonymized data (e.g. IP addresses, browser types) for up to 90 days.

The DV Radio Mobile App

The DV Radio app is a simplified mobile application for Android and iOS. Users download and install it directly from their device's respective app store. It provides easy access to:

• Live Radio Player (powered by RadioKing)

• Shout-Out page (powered by RadioKing)

• Video Casts page (embedded from Rumble)

• Podcasts page (embedded from Podbean)

• Chat Room (powered by Minnit Chat)

• Store (powered by StreamLabs)

• Sponsors page (external links)

DV Radio, LLC does not collect any personal data directly through the app. We do not require accounts, login, or registration (except through the embedded Minnit Chat service). We do not track cookies or similar technologies ourselves within the app.

The app may send push notifications, but this is handled without DV Radio, LLC collecting or storing any user data.

All embedded features (RadioKing player, Rumble videos, Podbean podcasts, Minnit Chat, StreamLabs store) are provided by third-parties. These services may collect data such as IP address, device information, or usage data when you interact with them inside the app. Please review their privacy policies:

Comments (Chat Room)

When you leave comment in our chat room (here, available on both website and app), we do not collect your data directly. However:

Third-Party services may collect your IP address or browser/device details for spam detection. See the chat room provider's policy https://minnit.chat/privacy.html.

If you use Gravata, an anonymized email hash may be shared to display your profile picture. Their privacy policy is found at https://automattic.com/privacy/.

Approved comments and profile pictures are publicly visible in the chat room.

Media

If you upload images to our chat room, avoid including location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the site or in the app. DV Radio, LLC nor any of its hosts, co-hosts, or guests are responsible for any data that might be seen or taken from your images that you uploaded whether it is visible in the image(s) or in its metadata.

Cookies

Cookies apply only to the chat room, DV Radio Store, and live player (on both website and app):

Comment Cookies: If you comment in the chat room, you can opt-in to cookies that save your name, email, and website for convenience. These last one year.

Login cookies: Visiting our login page (chat room) sets a temporary cookie.

Live Player Cookies: RadioKing's live player may set cookies.

DV Radio Store Tracking: StreamLabs may set cookies.

Podcasts: Podbean, Spotify, etc. may set cookies.

Videos: Rumble may set cookies.

The DV Radio app itself does not set or track any cookies on behalf of DV Radio, LLC.

Embedded Content

Our site and app may include embedded content (e.g. videos from Rumbles, podcasts from Podbean, the RadioKing live player, Minnit Chat). These behave as if you visited those sites/services directly and may collect data, use cookies, or track interactions. Check their privacy policies for details.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset for the chat room, your IP address is included in the reset email. Audio messages sent via the live player may be shared on-air with your consent. No other data sharing occurs from DV Radio, LLC unless through the third-party services noted above.

How Long We Retain Your Data

Contact Form & Audio Messages: Kept for up to 90/ninety days or while we're in contact, then deleted. (Audio message may be kept longer if hosts/users like the audio messages; or if the audio message contains something that needs to be given to authorities in which, these will be kept until the investigation has been cleared.)

Chat Room Comments: Comments and metadata are retained indefinitely.

Analytics: Anonymized data up to 90/ninety days.

User Profiles: If you register (via third-party chat only), your profile data is stored until you delete or edit it with that third-party.

We do not retain any additional data from the DV Radio app.

Your Data Rights

You have control over your data:

• DV Radio, LLC only holds contact form or audio message data (up to 90/ninety days unless otherwise noted). Request deletion by contacting us. (Unless otherwise noted I.E. You have sent in an audio for listening by DV Radio, LLC. to become a host, use in a music playlist, etc.)

• For chat room, store, live player, video casts, or podcasts data, contact the third-party providers directly as mentioned above.

• If you have an account or left comments, you can request an exported file of your data or ask us to erase it (except data we must keep for legal or security reasons; and including your profile via the third-party chat room). We will try our best to get this from the third-party as quickly as possible, and if at all possible.

• We comply with privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA to protect your tights.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Comments and audio messages may be checked by automated spam detection services. Other data is handled by third-party providers as noted. Data from the app is handled solely by the embedded third-party services.

TECHNICAL NOTE: This policy may change at any time without notifying any users to this website or app as we do not track any users through any means via DV Radio, LLC. on a first-hand basis. If you use a VPN and are having issues with any part of DVRadio.net or the DV Radio app, please turn off your VPN and try again as some third- party applications do not allow VPNS to be used, and DV Radio, LLC. has absolutely no control over this at all.
